• Initial Assessment (including ADHD diagnostic assessments)

 

The first time you meet Lisa will be for an initial assessment. This session is aimed at gathering relevant and important developmental information and to discuss current concerns. Based on this information, a collaborative treatment plan is formulated where treatment goals are identified, the length of therapy is discussed and some initial strategies, if appropriate, will be discussed. It is helpful to bring up any safety concerns at this appointment to ensure that the relevant supports are put in place.

An initial assessment costs $325 (incl. GST) and is 80 minutes long.

ADHD assessments $550- $750 (incl.GST) and is 80 minutes long

• Follow-up therapy sessions

​

Follow up sessions are often weekly or fortnightly to begin with and offer a confidential and collaborative space where therapuetic interventions are delivered.  They can be with only the young person, or parents/caregivers or the wider family. Sometimes, shorter sessions of 30 minutes are offered especially for younger children or for refresher/top-up sessions. .

50 Minute sessions cost $205 (incl. GST)

30 minutes sessions cost $110  (incl. GST)

Family therapy sessions cost $260 (incl. GST).

The same rates apply to Telehealth/Zoom sessions.

• Cognitive and Neuropsychological Assessments

​

Due to the specialised and complex nature of these assessments, they often require 3-5 separate sessions of variable length including an initial assessment, 1-2 testing sessions and a feedback session. Report writing time will also be included in the comprehensive estimate provided to you prior to any work being completed. All face-to-face appointments are based at Takapuna Collective, 

416 Lake Rd, Takapuna, Auckland. Virtual appointments are done via Zoom

​Payment is by bank transfer or EFT payment on the day of your session. You may be eligible for funding subsidies through your health insurance, Work and Income New Zealand - Child Disability Allowance or Disability Allowance, or through I Am Hope.

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Regretfully, a full fee will apply for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
